I’m Will. I’ve been writing about games for as long as I’ve been playing them, though my Oblivion fan fiction written age 11, which would serve as evidence for that claim, is perhaps better left in the dark.

I’ve vacillated between console and PC gaming over the years, and now find comfort in engaging with both. I have a particular predilection towards first person shooters (specifically of the “boomer shooter” kind) though also find myself hopping from RPG’s to rogue-lites to platformers and beyond – so long as “beyond” doesn’t include football games or MMO’s.

Breaking the Backlog serves as a landing site for all the digital scrawlings I would otherwise stick in my spreadsheet – or if I’m too lazy, in my head.
